Turn the backyard into an outdoor room
A good patio is mostly what is underneath. We excavate, build a compacted stone base and set pavers with the right pitch so water drains away from the house and the surface stays level through Pennsylvania freeze and thaw cycles.
On top, there is room to get creative: wide steps, a contrasting border, a pergola over the dining table, a fire pit or a corner for lounge seating. If your yard slopes or your back door sits high above grade, a deck may be the better fit, and we are glad to walk you through both.

Your questions, answered
Straight answers to what homeowners ask us most. Anything else, just reach out.
Pavers or poured concrete?
Pavers can be lifted and reset if a section ever settles, crack less than a rigid slab and offer far more pattern and color choices. Poured concrete costs less up front but is harder to repair and match.
How long will a paver patio last?
With a correctly built base, a paver patio can last for decades with simple care: sweeping, rinsing and topping off joint sand every so often.
Can you add a pergola or seating wall?
Yes. We plan those features in from the start so footings, layout and drainage all work together instead of being squeezed in later.
Can you connect a new patio to my existing deck or walkway?
Often, yes. We tie a new patio into the back door, an existing walkway or deck stairs so the whole backyard flows as one space.
